Time: 10:30am PT / 1:30pm ET
Duration: 75 minutes

Modernizing the data warehouse is the most important theme driving BI development today. Rather than starting with a blank slate, organizations are re-architecting their systems for operational efficiency, and responding to explosive new demands for integration, new delivery media, and new archiving requirements. In this webinar, Dr. Kimball takes a fresh look at the full data warehouse lifecycle with special emphasis on these new modernizing demands.

During this webinar, you will learn about:

  • Key EDW enhancement considerations that are often overlooked,
  • More effective techniques for extracting mainframe legacy data,
  • Direct connectivity to applications and multiple data types, and
  • Data archiving and test data management
  • BI delivery techniques for operational data

Following Dr. Kimball's session, Informatica will show how its products support these new operational efficiency and modernizing demands. MicroStrategy will show how organizations can achieve high performance BI with the modern EDW infrastructure.
