From Insight to Action
"End-user adoption drives the value of BI," says Tobin Gilman, vice president of product marketing. "That is why we have worked hard to deliver right information to the right person and the right time—and within the right context."

To achieve this, says Gilman, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g has been designed to avoid information overload by providing an intuitive user experience with interactive dashboards, rich visualization, integrated search, and collaboration.

Besides providing more relevant information, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g has also been designed to enable immediate action on that insight.

"Instead of forcing users to leave the BI system, they can start taking necessary action directly from a dashboard with just one click," explains Gilman.

More Manageable
Traditionally, BI implementations have taxed IT departments because of complex deployments, scalability issues, and continuously changing user requirements and infrastructure.

" Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g addresses these challenges with simplified system configuration, performance monitoring, and topology management," says Gilman.

More Integrated
Oracle offers what is widely recognized as the most integrated solution on the market.

"That means lower total cost of ownership and faster time to value through reduced complexity and customization. Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g is hot-pluggable and easily integrates with heterogeneous data sources, middleware, and enterprise applications," Gilman concludes.
