QlikTech’s Business Discovery solution allows Sanofi to move beyond reporting to analysis and consulting

QlikTech, a leader in Business Discovery – user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today announced that Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH, the German subsidiary of the Sanofi Group, plans to use QlikView for flexible management, marketing, and sales reporting. QlikView shall thus serve to establish standardized operating processes.

Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH plans to use QlikView not only to create an image of its reporting of national and regional market data, but also to shift the focus towards analysis and consulting. The company, which already has traditional BI reporting architecture in place, chose the QlikView Business Discovery solution as an additional front-end especially for interactive dashboards and flexible data analyses, providing more transparency. The goal is to increase the reporting quality, to reduce the manual maintenance, adjustment, and enhancement efforts, and to avoid sources of errors in reporting. In addition, the recipients of reports will be able to perform their own analyses within a clearly defined framework.

The introduction of QlikView for mobile use on laptops and mobile devices is currently being considered in order to enable data analyses from any location, and later this year, Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH plans to deploy QlikView in procurement, as well.
