Quiterian draws an iPad2 among the participants in its survey about “Current BI vs. New BI”

Quiterian draws an iPad2 among the participants in its survey about “Current BI vs. New BI” The company, specializing in Advanced Analytics and Predictive Analysis, opens a survey that counters the current Business Intelligence with the “New BI” trends, made up by a new generation of BI applications. Participants will enter a draw of an iPad2. Barcelona, April 15, 2011 – Quiterian opens an online survey (www.quiterian.com) about current BI and the new trends classified under the “New BI”. The questions, organized in three areas (“Current BI”, “New BI” and “BI on Suscription/SaaS”), have been designed to collect main needs of organizations and business users, as well as the trends that are making great impact, in the field of BI. Participants, regardless if they are users of Business Intelligence applications or decision-makers on the matter, can already enter the virtual survey through Quiterian’s website and take part in the draw of an iPad2. Answers, once analyzed, will be useful as the basis for a research that Quiterian will prepare immediately after the survey and draw are finished. Thus Quiterian ensures anonymity of the sample. The survey and later research will counter main functions and tasks that require BI applications to be put into practice by organizations with their main needs and requirements. Additionally, functions and benefits of current BI will be put in comparison with the new generation of BI applications. Quiterian DDWeb, which is positioned inside this last group, is in fact a Self-service and Agile BI platform totally complementary to traditional BI and predefined reporting.   About Quiterian: Founded in 2003, Quiterian has developed DDWeb, a Self-service and Agile Business Intelligence (BI) software that analyzes unlimited volumes of data instantly, with very light server. DDWeb includes Advanced Analytics and Predictive Analysis techniques, but because of the simplicity and intuitiveness of the platform, any business user can make use of it, with no need of being an expert Mathematician or Statistician, and with no dependence on IT. Quiterian DDWeb is the right complement of traditional BI systems.

Among its
customers are leader companies in their sectors (El Corte Inglés, BBVA, La Caixa, Inversis, Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange, Telepizza, Volkswagen, Travel Club, Bayer, Sanofi) and some of the most advanced government institutions (Governments of Andalusia, Catalonia, Valencia, Extremadura, Madrid City Council, Bilbao City Council, Metro of Madrid, Metro of Bilbao, ATM, Muface, Muprespa, ENESA).

Quiterian, with headquarters both in Europe (Barcelona) and the USA (Miami), and offices in Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Lisbon and Mexico DF, started in 2010 an international expansion and thus it has expanded its area of influence through strategic partnerships with
partnersfrom around the world. Quiterian and DDWeb appeared in Gartner’s ‘Magic Quadrant for BI platforms 2011’ for “easing the use of Data Mining and Statistical Analysis, and thus making these capabilities more broadly available”. For more information:
